Initially this was a rough painting practice but my mum insisted I finish it for mothers day. Its a year late but it's done yaaaaay FINALLY

This is the last closely followed reference I think i'm going to do for a long while I think. I was driven to complete it but it came at the cost of me not wanting to finish anything else in between it. That quickly became a problem when I kept procrastinating on this on and off for over 6 months ;_; I guess my point is that right now i'm really not driven at all to do still life, so I think I'm going to avoid it for a while.In fact its the same sticky situation I found myself in from my last painting...

That being said I think I learned a ton from doing this, so it was great practice. I just think in future though i'm going to focus on referencing things more loosely and not doing detailed fur painting because godDAMN

Hopefully I might be able to update more soonish, it will probably be nowhere near as frequent as it ever was in my teens but generally stylised art doesn't take this long and I'm more motivated to finish it aha
