Description

Part 3 of the Powerpuff Girls Custom Character design series. And today, we'll be talking about the
Gangreen Gang, a group of truant nuisances with the best gang name ever! That's Ace, Snake, Grubber,
Arturo and Big Billy.

GENERAL
A tweak in a few of their facial features, as well as a little diversification and updating of their
respective attires. Also gave them different shades of green because Nick made the Turtles as visually
discernible from each other as possible, so everybody has to.
ACE
The boss of the Gangreen Gang. Save for drawing style, his physical features don't change much. I guess
the only difference is that he has no facial hair and his bangs are a little wilder. As for his clothes,
I changed his rather colourful outfit to one of a simple, moderate pallet. I gave him a red vest with
blue-purple jeans and brown shoes, topping it off with cool sunshades (as if the first shades weren't
cool enough) and a black leather jacket to make him seem a little more "badass".
Although practically the same in personality, he is a little more serious with his position as leader of
the pack than canon Ace, but is probably even a bigger fun-loving party animal than the original as well.
SNAKE
I sort of went a little overboard with his design change. At first, it may not seem that drastic, but
look closely and you will see that his face's shape isn't really as snake-like as it used to be and his
hat is a beautiful scarlet now. Also, I gave him a black vest as opposed to his white one and gave him
long, goldenrod trousers and white shoes to compliment. This is becaus when he slides as he walks, I get
a bit of a Michael Jackson vibe from him. I mean, SURE he's moonwalking the wrong way, but STILL!
GRUBBER
For all practical reasons, despite very obvious differences between this and the original design, Grubber
looks pretty much the same. I merely detailed him a bit. I made him taller, I gave him shoelaces, and I
made him close his mouth more often. Although, he's pretty much the same Grubber as the one in the
original show.
ARTURO
Ah, si. Arturo, The Mexican Munchkin. I made him look less like something that jumped out of a Picasso
picture and more of something from Bleedman's comics. Also, he's the only one who's personality I would
temper with. As you can see, Artie is holding a bouquet of roses. That is because he is more of a
romantic person than usual, a la Juandisimo from Fairly Odd Parents (though, not as extreme). Also, he's
probably more calm and down to earth than the other GGG members. Clothingwise, nothing really changes
except his white pants (which judging by the fact the other gang members are still the same personality-
wise will just keep getting dirty). Also, due to the fact that he wants "a beautiful woman" in his life,
he's probably the cleanest too.
WILLIAM A. WILLIAM
A.K.A Big Billy. He's the most drastcally changed Gangreen Gang member here. No, he's still a childish,
slow brained behemoth with a heart of gold. I'm talking about his looks. I changed up his hair and his
clothes big time, going with the dumb schoolboy look to reflect his personality more. And the writing on
his shirt? It's Arturo that helped him do it; the poor lunk can't even spell his own name. And JESUS
CHRIST of ALL THINGS, those mitts are HUMONGOUS! Oh, and remember last time when I said Fuzzy wasn't up
to scale? Well, Imagine two Arturos balancing on each other on top of Billy's head. That's Fuzzy's
height.
And to top it off, I put Buttercup to scale so as to give you an idea how tall these guys are... and how
small Buttercup is- *gets punched out a window*.
