Description
Inspired by the many storys of a habitable planet at Alpha Centauri I decided to come up with a triple-star system landscape scene. I used many impressions from my South Tirol trip. As usual several wallpaper sizes are downloadable and can be used on your personal screen.Wallpaper (widescreen and normal sizes) available here: gtgraphics.de/wallpapers/triniβ¦

Great job. The detail is fantastic, as is the concept. Well done.

For some reason we don't see more landscape scenes like this with 3 or more suns. As usual, great use of colour and tone. The choice of scenery is sure to please. The top left mountains look a bit like a mirage above clouds. Not 100% sure of the lighting and composition either, but this is still a great pop-potential wallpaper.

Yeah maybe people just don't know about dual+ star systems
thanks for the feedback!

Siris is a double system. 4.4 light years

no problem!
I've seen more binary systems, but even those seem a little under-explored.

"My Three Suns" I've always wanted to do a trinary scene and couldn't help but steal that title idea from a certain beloved animated sci-fi show for it
Would be awesome to see how the suns would change positions over the time, here I can imagine they would appear pretty close compared to other times, meaning there's actually a night to look forward to at this time of the year

haha yeah for sure! to live in a dual star system would already be quite a sight I guess.

And here we are stuck with our useless one-sun

on the other hand: living in a dual star system would make it ordinary to you a single sun would be special then

True - but one can say the same thing about the moon, but I'm sure we wouldn't feel that 0 moons is better than 1 if we went to a planet like that

That scenery as seen here is awe-inspiring, and imagining how it would be to be standing in place of that traveler, it would be even more so. I actually had a shiver run down my back as I imagined it. Thanks, I think this pretty much made my day, in a way.
On a side note, some constructive criticism, shouldn't the clouds/fog be reflecting the light and thus illuminating the side of the mountains that is otherwise faced away from the suns, more than it currently is?
And I believe that mountain seen far to the right in the image and the undersides of the clouds (at least to some degree) would be lit up more, as well.Β And alt version with those effects would possibly be even more stunning than this, as it would bring out more detail.
Nice work.
