uppersurface camo pattern applied to SAC B-52s during the Vietnam conflict,c.1968. BUFF,s flew at such high altitudes,{50,000+ft}invisible and inaudible, that their victims didn,t know they were there until the bombs were already hitting them. very frightening! many North Vietnamese Army and Viet Cong troops were known to just stand frozen,cry and wet their pants in terror during a B-52 strike,they called them "The Unseen Death"Related content

Oh, how I miss these big birds flying over my wee little head back in the 70's - usually with this camo pattern too.
