Wait, preception? Isn't it perception? Or are you talking about something else entirely? It's very soft, easy on the eyes. I think that's my new desktop, if you don't mind... the colors go with my my pencil case, which is next to my computer, and I'm just thinking about all the icons that would look quite spiffy with that. Personally I wouldnt use it because anything white on my LCD really tends to burn my eyes after a while but its great!

Dan Flavin was a minimalist artist who used fluorescent lights for his art. Because the lights take up lots of space, usually his pieces are separated by rooms and the color from the lights fills the room up (and reflect off the white walls). That's what your deviation reminds me of right now. ^^
