Description

Here's Studio Series Grimlock in robot mode with his robot feet facing us. This is the proper way to display this toy, but my eye is inevitably taken away from the robot and I'm forced to see giant dinosaur toes sticking out from the back. Hasbro could have fixed this by making the dinosaur toes ball-jointed or hinged so that they'd be pushed together and not stick out as much. What's done is done, though.

My thoughts on the robot mode? Grimlock's very broad and burly from the front and the back. He still looks thin from the side, though. The added silver paint makes him look more mechanical than plastic, helping him resemble his appearance in Age of Extinction even more. I still wish that he was taller, though. Compared to his dinosaur mode, he still looks tiny. Nevertheless, I'll overlook these flaws in favor of a well-made Transformers figure.
