As soon as this shot came up in the camera I felt perfection. I think that whilst the aesthetic is very beautiful that it is more the freedom of the model's energy that is the perfect thing. The model had never posed for shots before and was not intending on doing any nude work. She had come in for some underwear shots and felt so free on the day that she posed for this series. Her enthusiasm and passion on the day was so inspiring for me as the photographer. So many women and men for that matter seem to judge or possess nudity. I get so uplifted when someone comes into my studio with an open mind like Melissa did on this day.
