Oh god this took up most of the past 5 days. What has become of my life?
ANYWAY.
This is probably the most detailed render-portrait I have ever made, and it is of the lovely Benedict Cumberbatch! Yes, that is his actual name. I was introduced to this magnificent man through the Sherlock BBC series (go watch it NOW), shown to me by my lovely friend, Finn, otherwise known as ~tamakari-chan .
Yes, the hair is kind of... weird.
But, I hope you like it anyway!

Well, it was done digitally, but it was also done by hand. I did it in Photoshop, but I used a Bamboo tablet and pen.

A Daily Deviation is basically an award from this website.
It's a high honor. Daily Deviations are chosen by people who work for the site. They either find the pieces themselves, or get pieces submitted to them by anyone else on the site. When your work is chosen as a DD, it is placed in a special gallery for the entire site to see on display for a full day. And it's kept in that place in the gallery forever, you just have to go back in the history to find it.
Kind of a big deal.
