Oh god this took up most of the past 5 days. What has become of my life?
ANYWAY.
This is probably the most detailed render-portrait I have ever made, and it is of the lovely Benedict Cumberbatch! Yes, that is his actual name. I was introduced to this magnificent man through the Sherlock BBC series (go watch it NOW), shown to me by my lovely friend, Finn, otherwise known as ~tamakari-chan .
Yes, the hair is kind of... weird.
But, I hope you like it anyway!

I think your artwork has evolved yes - I would say everyone will improve over time but I think you have jumped from being good to great to awesome in such a short space of time

I'm just like any other artist, the only difference being that I improve ridiculously fast while it takes other people years upon years to get how far I come within about one year.

What has become of your life? Well, I'll tell you, it's only getting better! Spending days on something shows your patience and dedication. Also, it's very well rendered, even if you made him look a teeny-tiny bit younger. n_n
I wish I could've spent only five days on my last posted piece instead of working on it on and off for a week and a half. -_-'

Haha, the deviation you referred to was probably posted a while after I commented here. xD The one I was actually talking about, back then, is merely depicting a standing woman smoking a cigarette. -_-' The watercolour (which is my most recent piece now) took me much less time!

Haha, I've never been called "girl" by anyone else before. XD It feels odd.
It's funny, 'cause the smoke was the quickest part of it. Both during the pencil sketch and the actual painting. <.<
(Ok, no, the background was, I just slapped a texture on it. But still, the smoke took much less time than everything else! It's just a bunch of convoluted lines)
