"Actually my sister is letting me stay with her for now...these are, um, her daughter's clothes..."

And there you have some story! Now two weeks into her dilemma, Kate finds herself at 2'9", smaller than her young niece. She'll have to stay with her sister and her family until they find out how to get the dwindling woman back to normal.
