Description
Reptilla is a primary female original character(OC) that was created years ago. Her concept was inspired by a good dream that bordered nightmare level. She is a 6-foot tall female humanoid, half-human/half-lizard creature, covered mostly jade-green reptilian scales, certain exposed areas of ordinary human skin, clawed lizard-like hands and double-jointed feet, a long, thick, whip-like tail, normally dark green, medium-lengthened hair, a few sharp teeth, a long, forked, blue tongue, and lizard-like, greenish-yellow eyes.

Reptilla is a Savra, which is a half-human/half-lizard creature, which is genetically comprised of only females. They are related to the mythological creatures known as Lamias, only the latter is part lizard, not snake. As her name implies, Reptilla is a reptilian creature, who is often highly misunderstood, and hated by many humans on first glance. For this, she tends to remain solitary; alone to the point of almost avoiding humans, except when hunting for food, or out to seek a potential mate. She knows exactly how to follow normal human concepts, such as fluent speech, manners, intellectual gathering, and wearing of clothes, although she usually doesn't wear clothes because it hinders her camouflaging ability. When hunting for food, she uses her forked, blue tongue As a carnivorous creature, she employs her intelligence, speed, stamina, and reptilian prowess, often using her enhanced camouflage to ambush and kill her prey. Whether it be chasing them down, climbing up to reach them, or swimming underwater to fish them out, she is biologically built for the kill. She prefers to devour her prey in pieces, much like a Komodo Dragon. When it comes to mating standards and forming relationships, she can be quite hesitant because of her natural instincts. On the full moon, her species naturally goes into heat. During this, if she finds a potential partner, willing or not, she will follow her instincts and attempt to mate. It helps by using her naturally supernatural charm, but can be fairly aggressive in courtship. Her favorite method of foreplay is for the end of her tail to be caresses and squeezed, as it is an erogenous gland and zone. Requiring human males to reproduce, she is capable of laying enlarged eggs, that will hatch to birth infant Savras like herself. She is considered a therapsid, "meaning mammal-like reptile". As a cold-blooded creature, Reptilla doesn't generate her own body heat, and as such, her temperature remains that of the degree in her environment. This naturally urges her to seek the closest source of warmth, even seeking to snuggle and lay on other people for protection, and for warmth. Although she is known to be naturally reclusive, Reptilla is also an outgoing creature, willing to make allies and friends, to those who are not hating towards she and her kind. She has special likings towards Lamias, often seeking to befriend and stay close to them, as they are indeed related to her kin, sharing several common traits. As long as she has friends who care for her well being, she both instinctively and empathetically protect them at all costs.

As a Savra, Reptilla possesses many natural and supernatural abilities. Her natural attributes include superhuman strength; being able to lift almost twice her weight, enhanced speed, possessing reptilian athleticism; easily able to outrun the fastest of humans, supreme agility, and keen senses. She is able to climb up, thanks to her padded feet and gripping claws, sprint at speeds that can reach up to a cheetah, and even swim by using her powerful tail. Her forked tongue is able to taste, smell and help her recognize many different scents, letting her know what she is perceiving. Reptilla's sharp claws can easily slice through the hides of mammals and creatures with weaker hides, and her tail is capable of delivering blows that can take out a man's leg. She possesses two lethal venom glands, stored in her lower jaw, similar to a Komodo Dragon. This venom is fairly lethal, being able to kill certain people with just enough dose from her lower fangs after biting. Her tail, if grabbed with enough force at the same time, is capable of severing at the right force, allowing her tail to come off and writhe around, to prevent a natural predator or enemy to get her, and distract them, in a manner similar to a Green Anole lizard. As such, she is fairly capable of regenerating, and her tail will regrow to almost it's original length. Her blood is filled with a pigment that makes it green, similar to a Green-Blooded Skink lizard. Reptilla's most uncanny biological ability however, is her camouflage. This ability is much similar to a chameleon; able to mimic any color patterns, but also literally disappear from the naked eye altogether. The colors that she changes, working on the automatic manner, are able to signify her emotions, red showing anger, yellow showing fear, gray being sick, orange showing irritation, pink showing attraction, hot pink and purple showing arousal, bluish-gray showing depression or sorrow, green showing content and calmness, light blue showing happiness, and brown showing resting.

She also possesses many supernatural abilities, most particularly being natural seductive charm. As both her species and Lamias are very similar to Succubi, she is able to cast off an alluring aura towards males, able to entice them to her will and appearance. Reptilla can also learn certain magics, such as controlling fire, or water.

Although she has plenty of strengths, Reptilla, like all characters and all living things, has weaknesses. As a reptile, she is only cold-blooded, unable to generate her own body heat. Therefore, she is vulnerable to very cold climates. Her jaws may be able to snap at the force of a snapping turtle, but the muscles that open her jaws are very weak, and can be held down with little force. Her scales may provide some degree of protection, but they are not as armored as a crocodilian's, and she possesses no osteoderms to protect her from powerful attacks. She has a slight fear of forced sexual intercourse, despite her supernatural ability to use it to her advantage. Furthermore, she is sometimes fairly vulnerable to her natural instinctive urges, sometimes having a weak will.

The character of Reptilla originated from a very strange, seemingly unreasonable dream that I had a few years ago. In it, Reptilla appeared in my home while I was alone, and proceeded to entice me, before engaging in her mating ritual, at the result of me being very scared and reluctant, but later accepting. The reason for this, as strange as it sounds, was actually very sensible. It was completely snowy outside, therefore, she was seeking the closest source for warmth, being the house and me. Furthermore, her aroused actions were caused by the instinctual in heat state of the full moon period. I used her concept to create a creature that was related to another in both mythology and fiction, those being Lamias, and her species I dubbed as Savras, taken from the same Greek word of origin. This goes to show that Reptilla is not only a product of my Scaly fetish, but she is also here to educate. The most important purpose of her character is to teach people of how amazing, and how important reptiles are in the animal kingdom. Most Reptiles are often thought as nothing but killers and bad animals, but are equally as amazing as plenty of others. Many are naturally very docile, and some are even highly intelligent, and fairly affectionate. If handled and treated with the right care, reptilians can teach us many things, and can be amazing animals to work with. Hopefully Reptilla, as an OC, will prove it to some people.
