This was a map made for Cartographers Guilds one week January challenge.

I wanted to create a map that depicted a small fairy tale realm in a forest clearing. Where the small inhabitants of the area build houses, and settlements in the things of the woods. Found a lot of inspiration from the wonderful illustrations of Elsa Beskow.
