Description
A while ago, I was experimenting with my own take on the classic speculative zoology scenario of the absence of a KT extinction event. The idea has never really left, and has continued to evolve. These are some basic ideas for the animals of Seiek as I continue to refine it. These were done sometime last year, so not all the ideas are 100% "canon" for the project anymore, but I figured I'd see what others think. Clockwise from top left:One: A giant varanid. Top predator of Madagascar.
Two: A dwarfed sauropod part of a group descended from Rapetosaurus, endemic to Madagascar. Most are still herbivores, but a few have taken to omnivory and even semi-predatory habits. This species is a fisher of rivers and coasts.
Three: A pig-like notosuchian still similar in most respects to its' ancestor, Simosuchus. Its' armored blue neck is used for interspecies communication and for surprising predators.
Four: A typical member of a group of tenrecs that fill the niches of lemurs.
Five: A flightless avian predator that hunts smaller game of Madagascar.

All are really great, but I think an abelosaur will be a great apex of Madagascar instead of a lizard

know what dark blue really fits a big lizard, wonder why there isn't any dark blue monitors in this world
also the bird on the bottom looks like a dodo that got more action packed
