These precious little things were found in the toppled rabbit hutch when Art and Kyle uprighted it, about two weeks after the bear's visit.
I would guess that the mother mouse was only about two inches in length.
I'm pretty sure my camera flash scared her out as they were gone the next day. She was so frightened! There was no way to communicate that they were safe.
