Normally I would agree with you, but that's a xenomorph, they are more focused on hunting and killing than making friends. Its true that Steven has befriended aliens but they all had some form of higher thinking and functioning brains. A Xenomorph imay be intelligent but I think it lacks most other emotions and empathy.
