I love the concept of this piece, the woods are so mysterious. I get the feeling that these things would be cute at first, but have some kind of dark side in the end.

>.> I'm glad that I managed to come across this; your artwork is amazing, no lie. I mean, I have no words to describe just how awesome it is. This is especially great; there's something about the lighting and the colors that you chose for the forest that makes the area look just plain creepy. The little monsters are pretty charming too; the simplicity of their design and the fact that they have no detail whatsoever would usually bother me, but for this scene, I feel like it really suits them. I think it's their soft shape and the little antenna thing protruding from the top of their heads that makes it look cute.
Anyways, like I said, you did a lovely job! This picture looks like something that could appear as an illustration on the cover of a book, like a somewhat morbid children's storybook. In fact...I'm actually supposed to be writing a children's book in my English class right now, and this sort of inspired me. I hope you don't mind; I'm not going to use this picture in there or anything, but I think I might actually feature a creature somewhat similar to this in it. If you have an issue with it, let me know though!

these things are adorable, wait i got story inspiration of this!
you walked through the dark Woods, completely lost the way and was getting hungry. as the sky grew darker, you got scared more and more..
you heard something in the bushes and started to run, in case it was someone else, but with less good intentions..
hiding behind a tree, you waited, and suddently, in front of you, there stood a small creature, with dripping eyes and a little curl on its head. it was black and practicly looked like nothing you saw before. it tilted its head but said nothing.
"h-hello.." you said, wait what are you trying, it probably cant speak anyway!
"hello.." said it back "who are you?"
"what? you speak?" you asked.
"yes, i speak and i hear, see and i smell" said the creature "but feeling is difficult"
"what are you?" you asked.
"dont worry about that" said the thing "i will lead you out of the forest" it went away.
you followed, and after maybe an hour of walking, you reached the edge of the forest "here we are" it said, you walked up to the open place and saw far away your house stading.
you turned around "thank you very mu-" but the creature was gone.
was it a dream?
