I finally get to do this. You guys know Inktober, right? it's that list of prompts numbering the same amount as the number of days of October, where artists draw something that matches the prompt for that day. Well, in the past I've seen many artists make their own Inktober theming after one thing (monsters, aliens, swords, average things, etc.). I did make my own October art thing theming after robots (called Robober), but that was not a good time for me. I couldn't draw one thing for each day due to my busy college life at the time.

After that, I had the idea of making a new one themed on cryptids, but I never go to do such a thing (because I was still in college and busy life). But with this being the first year where I got out of college, I finally get to do Cryptober. However, this time, I won't do the whole "drawing a day" thing. I don't know how people are able to make a drawing per day (they probably use their time wisely and not loaf around and waste time not drawing), but I'm still like "SCREW THAT" and decided to draw 10 prompts for Cryptober in three drawings and post them on Hallowe'en. And that's what I'm doing now.

Cryptids have always been a very interesting piece of human creation that makes life a little bit more fantastical, yet scary. And while I know most cryptids are not real, I still like to believe some of them are. So to show my appreciation for cryptids, Cryptober will have 31 cryptids, with a Hallowe'en color scheme to them, and this one starts with a few iconic/recognizable ones.
