Description
As you may have noticed, once I finished the Deltavengers 1i comic (available in my gallery if you missed it) I stopped pretty much all work on the Deltavengers. I'm very happy with what I did, but I had pretty much everything plotted out and once that's done I generally don't feel like continuing to play with the story anymore. The joy is in figuring it all out. The only reason Aphelion gets done is because I deliberately leave much of it open to changes as I work on it.
But! Deltavengers was fertile ground, and I wanted something that could also work as a quick comic to make alongside Aphelion, so here's some early aesthetic/style concepts for a new universe, tentatively called "Runners." This guy would be one of the villains, a member of the secret police, capable of running at 45 mph on all fours, and equipped with a venomous bobbit-worm like creature for a tongue.
Of course, the protagonists are about as strange.
