From this to this .I did this at grandparent's house. Final touches later. Meh. I don't like it but here you go.
To me Mew will always be lab rat + undeveloped animal thing (kinda like embryo or marsupial young).
Its eyes fills like half of its skull...
Btw, does anyone noticed similarites between Abra and Mew? The same head?

I imaginate it like somewhere in dark old labroom. I considered doing a bush/forest for Breloom but I got meh. It's kinda characteristic with those backgrounds.

the skull can only help so much. I meen how can I make a pick look mor like a clay skolpcher. I reff all the time. witch dose help with a lot of stuff. but I still need line's to make what I am drawing. you don't.

ok I see it but to me Mew was always more of a cat then a rat. It is said that Mew looks hairless because its fur is so fine. I know that pokemon always say their name, but to me Mew always sounds like it is actually mewing. Im a huge Mew fan, so I wont say I hate this, Il just say artistically I feel you could have gone a different direction.

I usually just skip such issues, because I don't like being bothered and be a bother. However I decided show my point of view here and see what will happen.
Well, "Im a huge Mew fan, so I wont say I hate this, Il just say artistically I feel you could have gone a different direction." sounds to me like you are disapointed, and that you actually hate the artwork (but you like Mew too much to say that). Or it even sounds like you demands from me to draw things in your way. Which is unacceptable. I drew the picture because I wanted to do that. For myself. Nobody commissioned me. I had free will, free hand. Under such circumantes I don't have to please anybody.
Having an opinion is good. But you should choose a better way to express it.

You didn't give a critique. You gave a dissapointment and opinion. Your overal comment implies that I should draw Mew as a furry cat.
And even if you consider the comment as a critique, it wasn't constructive. Your comment ends with "artistically I feel you could have gone a different direction." without explaining what is that direction.
There is anything about the artwork itself, like te execution, shadows, lighting, anatomy, skintones, composition, errors etc. Only you saying that you wasn't fond of the interpretation (Which I have nothing against to. You can dislike the interpretation, even the whole artwork, you may don't like the style. It's your right).

I was giving a critique of the art, I wasn't saying its bad i was saying that I personally don't agree with it. Every one has their own style. I have seen this way done before. I just dont like Mew looking so fragile and weak and fetus like. Im not trying to start an argument.
And of course there is no official art of mew. Its a cartoon based on a video game and manga. Its drawn in a cartoon animation style. Not meant to be real. I like how this artist takes a chance and does something different.

I always think that mew is a cat, even in the oficial wiki of pokemon says that its name can means cat because of its appeareance and it comes from the english word meow or the japanese myō that means miaow (or also a variation of the word new). But in anyway this is still a very good work
