Another collab with The Amazing NekoJackun ..!Because no one's going to believe it if I said I did this by myself emulating his art style..
So, anyway.. lately, Jackun's been busy, about life he said.. (huh, getting prepared for his wedding ceremony, I presume..?) and my drawing lessons have to be postponed.. for how long, I don't know..
But, I hope he's successful in his endeavor..!

I mean, yeah, I could just go ahead and do it.. but since I'm a pony-related account, it feels kind of "wrong" for me to do that.. hahahah..

I understand that way of thinking. Sometimes when you've been doing pony-stuff for a long while and people expected, branching out seems to feel odd.
In the end, you're going to draw what you want to draw. That should be important part.
Just draw what you want but don't expect as much views/reactions on that drawing immediately in the beginning (This is important). Just keep drawing that same type. Eventually, you'll gather an audience who will like that type of drawing.
Alternatively, you can think of the drawing (or drawings) you wish to do then find out if it's something people like a lot. Find a happy middle then draw that. And try finding dA groups where you can submit that drawing to (find a group with the most watchers). That will help get more eyeballs. This might need a bit of work but it can help get more attention to your work compared to just posting it and not promote it
For example:
People like anthros? Yes. -> Do I like anthros? No. -> Then don't draw it.
People like magical girls? Yes. -> Do I like magical girls? Yes. -> Which one? Sailor Moon. Do people like it? Yes. -> Then Draw Usagi having trouble using an I-Phone.
That's pretty much advise on it. Hope it helps.

Well, to tell you the truth, I'm actually not worried about views or feedbacks.. and, I think I'm kind of feeling responsible to keep providing pony-related content.. But not because of I've been drawing pony stuff, but because I am in a way an MLP-related account..! (It's like princess Luna; her name is Luna, her mark is the moon, so her job is only to take care of the moon and nothing else..! Hahah, iJoke..!)
And people know that.. and that's the reason they watch me, the reason they follow me..! They want to see their fav characters drawn by me.. and if I didn't deliver, I'd feel like I betrayed them..! (It's like Metro Man, he's Metro City's hero.. and if he's serving another city, people who rely on him would feel abandoned..! Heheh.. iJoke again..!)
Sure, sometimes I thought of creating a new account where I can put whatever I want under its name.. but I don't feel like managing more than one accounts..!

You thinking that, if you don't deliver on pony stuff, it will feel like a "betrayal" might be exaggerating things to a ridiculous level.
Although I have to say, having a username called "twilite-sparkelplz" can hold the expectation that you're drawing pony-related stuff exclusively. It doesn't have to be though. Maybe branch out into drawing other stuff but don't immediately stop drawing MLP-stuff outright, I guess.
Making a new account can be one way to go -- granted you want to manage two accounts. If you're not into making a new one then just continue on posting to this account. There's probably a good chance your current watchers might be open to other drawings besides pony-stuff. Who knows, right? Maybe organize your gallery a bit where you have a folder specifically for pony stuff in case someone just wants to see the pony stuff. They still can be exposed to your non-pony drawings in the feature section either way.
Another way is to change your name just so you avoid being shoe-horned as "the guy who draws pony stuff". If dA happens to sell a discounted price of the sub, you might want to consider this if you can.
Other than that, just be yourself and draw what you fancy.

Hahaha.. yeah, it is ridiculous.. but I've seen it happened on several ex-pony artists..! Some just went ahead and started drawing what they like.. and their watchers felt "betrayed", like it was not what they came for..!
Some other artists ended up abandoning their accounts, or even deleted their accounts and all the drawings in their galleries..! I talked to one of my watchmen about leaving this account some time ago.. and he begged me that if I did leave, I wouldn't delete all the drawings in my gallery..! Well, I actually haven't thought about leaving, though..!
Ahahah.. so, yeah.. I cannot just leave the fans behind..! I know I don't have to be too "loyal", but.. well..
About my username.. that's another thing, yet still indeed relevant..! Well, this account is a plz account.. and plz accounts aren't supposed to be active..! There's this unwritten "plz codex" that they shouldn't change their username and/or icons..! As you already know it, people use a plz as an emoticon.. and they also need to know if they're safe to use it.. as in, the icon won't change and still expresses the exact emotion they want..! The "plz" code after the username is the guarantee of it..!
So~.. yeah, despite the clever name that doesn't hint to a certain expression.. I still can't, or shouldn't, change my icon and username.. eheheh..!
Such dilemmas.. much trubble.. very confused.. wow..! But, you actually gave me a good solution: Make new fanarts but keep ponies..!
