A tutorial on L wigs, which happen to be an excellent example for basic spiking. The wig being styled is ~randomlyyellstuff 's L wig. Keep in mind that: wigs do not turn out the same twice, this is a tutorial on spiking over a tutorial on how to make an L wig, products/tools used are listed in the first caption and finally, this was a 45 minute wig job... but then again I have done this exact wig before ^^Good luck to everyone! I hope this tutorial is easy to understand

On some occasions. But this is a spikeing tutorial, thus it needs step 4 and on because that is when you SPIKE the wig

I know your busy and all but if you ever get the chance could you possibly do a tutorial for a Lavi (d.gray man) wig? xD i need step by step advice lol. Im gonna show this one to my friend though cuz she wants to cosplay L. ^^ thanks for taking time to help cosplayers with wigs too

This is really really helpful, because some friends and I are trying to find a good way to style wigs.
The only thing is though, that we live in the states. Where can we get Got 2 B hairspray and gel?
(also...do u know any good wig selling sights?)

I don't know of anything in the states. But if it's anything like canada, then drugstores are your best bet for buying Got 2 B

If you live in the states then they have Got2b hair stuff at HEB and Target. I'm pretty sure they have it at Walmart as well.

I LOVE that got2b hairspray gel.
Works wonder on my own hair, which may be short, but it's thick and heavy. Works best on towel-dried hair, I just spray my whole head, push my hands through my hair, spray once or twice more and go.
Easier than on dry hair, lemme tell you.
And dirty hair/wigs are easier to style, but where on earth would one find a wig brush? Online?

Wig brishes can be bought online, sometimes they come with wigs, you could also get em anywhere they sell wigs/extensions most likley

Maybe this'll help me touch up my epic fail of an L wig i did for Halloween. -_-" Then again, it was doomed from the start i guess....i had a horrible, really short and thin wig with a built in hair net that made styling it SO difficult!(I guess thats what i get for buying it at a thrift store...) I also don't have thinning scissors, or any previous styling skills. xD But maybe i'll be able to fix it up now, thank you so much Twin!!! : )

Actually thinning scissors are just as dangerous XD. The trick is to not be a retard and look away while you're cutting... or get distracted easily XD

At least you didn't run around with the scissors after and stab yourself. I don't trust you with scissors anymore..every time I see a new wig I wonder if you got hurt xD

i got a sasuke wig but when i got it, it looked like a spikey afro and it was very freakin poofy

Yeah... huge danger in ordering Sasuke wigs specifically is that they usually just weft one wig onto another one, making it super huge... they also don't style them very well in general, so you can even use them as a good Sasuke base.
The sasuke bases we use are locally bought, so unfortunately I can't give you a link to one that u can buy... however look more for the wig's ability to spike in the back. The bangs can be extensions, so they don't matter as much ^^

when i wear the wig it makes my forhead look big haha, the website said it was " high quility ", but it wasen't very high quility and it smells like crap XD ,i posted a youtube video asking people to give me ideas about what i should do with my hair to make it like sasuke's and i have long hair and my mom says i can't cut it short because it's just one convention, i'm buying some temerary jet black hair dye from hottopic because it's really cheap.
i just don't know what to do with my hair...
by the way the con i'm talking about is the sakura con 2009, are you going to the convention?
if you are going you might see me who knows, i'll be playing around with my japanese yoyo and carrying my awesome japanese umbrella ^^ and me video camera (lots of stuff to carry)
