Been wanting to make a nebulae like this for a while now. I think it looks pretty okay. Spent a lot of time on the shape of this bad boy. It's an eye, if you couldn't tell.Painted in photoshop about 7 hours
No textures, fractals, or photos.

Not only this is an amazing work, but it is also exceptionally realistic. In fact, I just found it on a fb page, which gave credit to Hubble Space Telescope itself! And it fooled a lot of people, among which some collegue of mine, that is, students of astronomy!

This is amazing! You capture the true beauty of spaceβhow it's a never ending mass of pure anonymous. I think you should draw the Helix (Eye of God) Nebula. I believe you, of all people, would be able to capture the lapsing waves of dark matter, the silky flow of air, and the vast unknown of the Helix Nebula. Thank you for your extraordinary art work.

This looks fantastic, but I wish there was a resolution appropriate for my tablet.
While my tablet has a display resolution of 2560x1600 (a resolution you include), it does things like wallpaper scrolling and rotation between landscape and portrait, and thus requires a size of 3966x2560. It's a Nexus 10, in case you're curious.
