Frisk is a Celemera, a species found in Somnerra. Celemera were blessed by the goddess Celeano with different formes and the power of speech, as they are her favourite animal. Due to this preference for the little critters, the Starlight people regard the Celemera as a holy animal. Frisk was a wild Celemera that was found by Crystal and adopted. He's young, having only been a few weeks old when Crys adopted him, but old enough to live away from his mother and littermates. At the time, he was too young to speak, but demonstrated his attentiveness one day, surprising the party. Frisk is friendly and trusting, as he is only a child, but knows when things are serious. He loves cuddling, and likes to sit on people's heads and shoulders. Frisk is quite outgoing and a chatterbox-- if he has something he wants to talk about, he'll go on and on about it. He's also a bit of a tattletale and not afraid to tell the truth about what he has seen or heard. Though he loves all his friends, Frisk has a preference for Shadow, often choosing the Machina as a perch and sleeping buddy. At first the Machina was reluctant to even be near Frisk, but the young Celemera's unconditional love and habit of curling up against Shadow at night opened the Machina's cold emotional shell enough to make him more open towards others.

Frisk is able to turn into his Attack Forme when in combat. Its powerful horn and larger body allow him to deal great physical damage towards enemies, as well as a mode of transportation for his friends.
