I see two outcomes.
outcome 1) Starfire is told that her clothes are inappropriate for the class room and she does not understand because this is the clothing of her planet, but she asks for help finding earth conservative clothing.
outcome 2) Starfire is told that her clothes are inappropriate for the class room and her feelings are hurt for these were the only clothes she had when she was sold into interplanetary slavery by her own sister.

Rarity: (audible gasp) This is a fashion emergency darling! We need to get you a new wardrobe immediately!
Starfire: Should we go to the mall of shopping?
Rarity: Without delay!
