Poor Yuri, Ryo tortured her with all his wooing. He fell head over heels for her when he first saw her at her tent. She's a Fortuneteller down in town, and he visited her religiously for a long time. Eventually she stops being stubborn and admits that she likes him too.

You think you would a fortuneteller would be able to expect a face attack, wouldn't you?

hahahahahah Ryo has a girlfriend. It's funnier if you actually know the character, I promise. Lets just say Ryo would rather bake then fight. Not that he can't fight, just rather not. Tasuki affectionatly calls him 'fruit' and is known as the mascot of Reikaku

He's a lover not a fighter, as demonstrated above.
