If you go Western elements, which is most likely from a Buddhist/Hindu source originally, you get: Earth, Water, Air, and Fire.
If you do the elements from Chinese metaphysics and philosophy, they are: Metal, Water, Wood, Fire, and Earth.
I could say more about the elements, but this art piece is an interesting take. Always interesting to see everyone's interpretation on things.

Even though you which one is which, the designs of the dragons made it hard for me to tell exactly what some of them were at first. Air looks more like water, and earth looks more like rock than dirt. Wood is far to pushed into the back. Elemental dragons, and pretty much elemental anything has been done already. These dragons all have the exact same facial expression, and don't show me much personality. They are just there. Try giving them identities, expressions, ideas, something to make them stand out a lot more.

Awesome coloring job, ecspecially that earth dragon, very nice. I don't know what lazarusmumble's talking about, these are obiviously Asian dragons (I think the earth one would be a Huang Long or yellow dragon or Fut's Lung, or something like that). Again, awesome coloring job.
