Description
Step 1 - I draw the outlines of the eyes. Quite simple, ahah.
Step 2 - I draw the basic color of the eyes. Quite simple again, bleh.
Step 3 - I choose a darker color and brush it at the top of the eyeballs, on another layer. Then I draw a circle with the same dark color for the iris.
Step 4 - I choose a lighter color, from the basic color of course ( same for the dark color on step 3 ) and draw a curved-line, on another layer and it is set to 'luminosity' if you use Paint Tool Sai, that cross the lower part of the iris. Then I use the blur tool and begin to blur the inside of the curved-line. It is important that you can still see the outlines of the lines you drew. Then you can play with the layer's opacity for better results.
Step 5 - On another layer set to luminosity again, keep the same lighter color from your basic color and draw a light circle inside the iris. Then draw an even smaller circle at one of the corner of the eyeball, for each eyes. Then blur just the top of the circle inside of the iris, and blur the bottom of the smaller one at the corner you choose for both eyes. Once again, play with the opacity when you're done.
Step 6 - On another layer above the layer of your lines, set to luminosity, choose the color white, or an even lighter color of your basic color, although I personally prefer and always use white, and add the shiny parts of the eyes as you can see above. When it is done, I blur the parts that gets inside the eyes and... I'm done! :'DD
And that's how I draw eyes everyone ;33
Hope you like it!
