Description
We used to have these pink and yellow candies when I was a child, which have resulted in the color combination etched into my mind as pure bliss. There were even better candies called fried eggs, a blob of white with a yellow blob on top of it. I think all of these candies still exist, formally, but they aren't the same, because back then artificial ("chemical") vanilla hadn't been invented yet. The fried egg candies in particular were therefore dripping with natural vanilla flavor, which would make them unaffordable to most these days. That's how living standards drop without people even noticing it.
