mini mushroom

Just a side project from this week

this was done on a 3x5 inch canvas, and apparently i struggle getting the proper amount of details on these smaller projects, but you cant get better if your not working on it it did come out pretty neat.I got to test out uv resin to seal and protect the sculpture aspect of this painting, also created a awesome light reflection on the mushroom. The top of the mushroom cap stick's out about 1/2 inch from the canvas, the picture makes it looks like 1 dimensional painting this being the trick to creating so much depth in the mini painting.
