Thread of Intertwining Fates
Cosmo is linked to Star permanently through the Thread of Intertwining Fates. She cannot move more than a few feet away from her companion. The Thread does more than just Tie them together, as evident in their shared appearances. Cosmo and Star share thoughts and feelings, even if Star struggles to comprehend the latter, and even life itself.

Lichen
Lichen grows from Cosmo's shoulders and ankles, a result of the Thread binding her to Star. Should the lichen be removed in some way, it will grow back swiftly as if aided by Star's magic.
Mane & Tail
Though Cosmo's mane is usually covering her eyes, it can sometimes be styled away from them. No matter the style, it is always curly, and never inhibits her vision. Her tail is always long enough to drag across the ground.
