If you ever wondered how his expressions look like.... Here is 6 examples. hehe..

EDIT: Well, if i would have skills back then when i drew this, i would have added expressions in body language, like when his sad or angry, his ears would go back. And just looking down would add more impact to the expression. So yeah. I would do this better nowdays.

I just want to point that out taht Gaze is wery childish and his like a kid, even if he is 17-20 years old. So if he fits the gang or something..
But if you read Gazes info in his ref, he escaped his old world/planet... He came here and maybe he met leno or someone else then ouo

That's what I was thinking, that he met Leno when he first arrived. --Leno is really paranoid but he's a pretty nice guy too once he trusts you.
