Description
A new comparison on two fantasy conquerors who were able to unite their respective continents in their life time.

Aegon I Targaryen- Aegon the Conqueror, who united the Westeros under the Targaryen Dynasty thanks in part to his three dragons which he and his sisters used. His conquest began when King Argilac Durrandon killed his messenger and when he rejected his marriage proposal to his daughter. Aegon then sent ravens to the rulers of the kingdoms of Westeros declaring himself as King of Westeros. The first to fall was House Hoare of the Ironborn, who had just completed the largest castle Harrenhal was burned down by Aegons dragon. With House Tully rallying the other lords of the Riverlands to join Aegons cause, making House Tully the lords of the Riverlands. House Durrandon, was defeated by Rhaenys who slew King Durrandon, with Orys Baratheon taking House Durrandon's lands and coat of arms, and ruled the Stormlands as its new lord. The houses of Lannister of the Westerlands, and Gardener of the Reach both united their armies to challenge the Targaryens. Both their armies were destroyed in the Field of Fire as Aegon unleashed all three of his dragons on his foes. King Loren Lannister was captured and was force to submit to Aegon, whilst King Mern IX Gardener was killed along with his son rendering Housr Gardener extinct. With both houses humbled Aegon has secured both the Westerlands and the Reach. House Stark later surrendered to the Targaryens, as King Torren Stark refused to risk the life of his people in a hopeless fight, and House Arryn was secured by Visenya when she met the young prince Ronnel Arryn, and gave him a ride on his dragon. Aegon was then crowned by the Faith of the Seven as the Aegon of house Targaryen, first of his name, king of the Andals, the Rhyonar, and First Men, ruller of the seven kingdoms, and protector of the realm. While he was unable to conquer Dorne, his descendants were able to incorporate it into the Seven Kingdoms by marriage.

Tiber Septim- Was the Emperor of the Third Empire who succeeded in conquering all of Tamriel under his rule. Accounts of his origins vary, the most accepted story was he was an Atmoran named Talos, and was raised by the Nords of Skyrim. While the Arcturian Heresy states that he was a Breton born in the island of Alcaire in High Rock, and was named Hjalti, until he moved to Skyrim. From there he learned how to wield a sword, and later his voice, as he has the power to use the Thu'um, which allow him to use a form of magic taught by dragons by shouting. He became a General under King Cuhlecain of the Colovian Estates, and under his leadership, he was able to conquer all of Cyrodiil within a year. Skyrim who once fought against Cuhlecain, quickly joined Tibers armies, as he had grew up among them, and was recognized as a dragonborn. The Grey Beards of Skyrim believed that Tiber Septim. Later on Tiber was able to absorb the Kingdoms of High Rock into the Empire in piece meal, as they were a divided set of small Kingdoms constantly quarreling with each other. Sometime later Emperor Cuhlecain was killed in an assassination attempt, leaving Tiber Septim as the sole witness. Most history sources say that Cuhlecain was killed by a Reachman assassin who slit Tibers throat, while other sources claim that Tiber slew the him and slit himself to avoid suspicion, as he believed the prophecy of the Grey Beards that it was he who was destined to unite and rule all of Tamriel, as he was the one who found the Amulet of Kings, an artifact gifted by Akatosh to Men to prevent the daedra of Oblivion from invading Tamriel. Though he would never shout again, Tiber Septim became the new ruler of the Third Empire of man, and plans on fulfilling the prophecy to unite all of Tamriel. The last human Kingdom to fall was Hammerfell, which was suffering in a civil war between the Crowns and the Forebears. The Forebears called on Tiber Septim for help in exchange for fealty against the Crowns. Tiber's armies were able to defeat the Crown armies on the deserts of Hammerfell, and were able to gain the dragon Nafaalilargus who was aligned with the Forebears. With the dragons aid, they were able to crush the last of Crown resistance, and Hammerfell was incorporated into the Septim Empire. With all human realms under his control, Tiber Septim now sets out to conquer the non human lands. The Khajit of Elsweyr and the Bosmer of Valenwood were invaded and brought into the Empire after a grueling war within their territory. The Argonians of Black Marsh fared better, as the Empire did not dare invade the deep regions of swampy lands, as they would face numerous disease, and fanatical Argonians in its deepest regions. The Empire simply settled in claiming the territories near Cyrodiil, and make a treaty with the Argonians. The Empire had a brief conflict with the Dunmer of Morrowind, but with the leadership of one of its godlike leaders Vivec, was able to negotiate in letting Morrowind join the Empire, and gifted the brass god Numidium as a tribute. The Aldmeri Dominion of the Summerset Isles were the last to be conquered, as Tiber Septim used the Numidium to invade, and bring the Aldmeri Dominon to its knees. With all of Tamriel under his rule, Tiber Septim became the first human, and mortal to ever unite the entire continent under one rule. Upon his death, his spirit achieve apotheosis, and ascended into as the ninth divine, Talos the god of war and governance.
