Considering questionable things to try to get me through it
Ive tried to push it away but I always give into it

I'll admit, I got really excited when I saw the lineart for this, but I don't think this kind of color scheme really works.
It's just too rich and saturated, over-detailed (especially the skin).
The background is just weird and looks like an afterthought.
Frankly, I'd like to see this re-done with a lot less detail and gloss, go for something more stark, matted, and minimalistic. Go for pastels instead of oils, if that makes sense.
It's a solid composition and, like I said, the line art was strong, full of energy and tension, try not to cover those up too much.

Well as I said in the description, I am far from proud of it. And the BG was actually planed, not exactly like this, but this was the result, just dragging it more down. I will redo this piece on day though. When I feel inspired to do it..

thats your opinion, mine is a bit differnt, mine is that as long as you can see yourself getting better with each piece then your going in the right direction

Well mine got me to develop anatomy skills in a shorter time then most outside of artschools. So I am comfy with that.
