* Greetings my friends and let’s say “Citizens” of the Underverse, the omniverse we reside inside.
* Before I go to my actual argumentation, I have to commend Ookamirei for her astute observation of Squi- no, Alexander’s hypocrisy.
* But you missed one thing: He doesn’t just amass power, he already has.
* While he might act powerless and he is, in fact, the only zed star with hp atk and def 1, Sans Alexander Gaster still holds the position of zed star spec-ops agent.
* He stands toe to toe with Elders on a regular basis.
* And this stunt made one thing clear.
* He is not one of the normal Sanses any more.
* He is an Elder.
* He is a Guardian.
* Be wary of those who call themself “not bad”.
* Because, he doesn’t want the Source for any benevolent reason.
* As he said himself, he is just afraid of ageing.
* But that wasn’t what I have to say in regard to his speech.
* He is right.
* We can’t have a multiverse under the power of just a small group of people.
* But as Ookamirei pointed out, and he probably even knows himself, we’d have to change society first for it to stick.
* And we can’t do that as long as the true enemy is still out there.
* This is not a threat, nor is it a plea, this is a warning.
* If we start with the restructuring of the omniverse while we still are at its mercy, we might end up with an reality extinction event that could kill more than half of all universes.
* When the time has come, I’ll agree to sit down at the table with him and discuss his proposal.
* But until then, hold your peace and try to convince your fellow Sanses and Guardians to lay down arms and return to your routines.
* I believe Squ- Alexander would agree with me that unnecessary dustshed would just harm all of us.
* If you are still supporting him, you can protest against the current system.
* But, I want to remind you, violence is not the Sans way.
* Don’t do anything rash.

* You see, stopping of ageing is, kind of, a big deal. In many cases it’s equivalent to immortality. And we can’t just hand it out or everyone might want to get it and that might, again, draw attention and kill off half the Omniverse.
* That message he wrote is part of an elaborate time loop. The third line is, with standard loop procedure in mind, a code phrase to confirm himself as the sender.
* By the way, the elder I spoke was, roughly translated into common: You cannot perceive your tormentor until the time you are returned to your former self.

* And for all of you who’re angry for possessing him: first, it was just a message playback and second Syrus had to agree to it beforehand, so, it's actually Syrus' fault.

If you'd like your character in the bar, give us a description of your character, including looks, rough personality and origin AU name. This is still Undertale stuff, mainly for sanses. but the only absolute limitation is that the character has to be, in some way, a “judge” who shoulders that weight.

*shrug* Not sure if I would be allowed in the bar, guessing that's up to you and the others Chief, but I would happily volunteer to watch over Mossy. He might not have met me, but he's received a lot of help lately from those he did not know previously, but who know him, so its not out of place. And, if he needs some stabilizing, I can help (might need to save the details for a note, but I can.... work with code). Anyway, I'm already the "group mom" type, and I like Mossy (I also understand he's important, but I would have made the offer even if he wasn't). Might as well help the little bean out, most of the others have more... pressing matters to attend to. Mossy still needs someone to watch him who can not only keep him safe and be a back-up [code] healer, but he needs someone who can help with his emotional turmoil. Not really sure who else can do that, or can spare the time/energy. So yeah, if its allowed, I definitely volunteer.

Of course hun! ^_^ Like I said, I like Mossy, I think he's really cool and sweet. And he's an important friend to a few others who also need someone to be there for them. He deserves to have someone be there for him to. I've always been in this role in the human world, and even after, around everyone I've known, so I'm used to it. If O (or SteampunkCyborg really), allows it, we'll have to talk in notes about some ideas on things I might be able to do to help him. And maybe some things that I need to be aware of for his unique situation, but only as much as you wanna give. Either way, I do want to help.
(And you rock, so its helping out a friend in the form of his creator as well ^_^).

Heh, well even if they never said it, I bet a lot of the others think he's cool to. Especially people like Squirrel (Alexander), Shadow, and Lusty, who are not only people he's befriended but are the types who are often misunderstood by others. Its been a while, but if you recall, one of the things that started us talking is the realization that Mossy and I are some of the very few who give Hope to others. And Hope is always needed, but nowhere more then among the Sanses. In this case, after everything that's happened to him, Mossy could use some Hope right now. And... well you could say that's sort of my specialty, so I'm happy to lend a hand. I know he'd do the same for anyone else in need.
Yay. I have to go to bed for work, but I will hopefully get to talk to you some more when I get home tomorrow. (still waiting to hear a reply from O, on if this is even ok >_<)
I remember reading that when the comic got to where Mossy showed back up in Jazztale. Always fun to re-read though. Poor bean. Altering code takes its toll, especially altering *that* part of the code. .... Actually... I never thought about it before, but in this regard, I might be able to relate to Mossy better then anyone else. At the very least, I can help him through it a bit, as this kind of thing is tied directly to my "job" in the omniverse. There are technically others who can alter code, but to my knowledge we all do it in different ways and to different degrees. And I think anyone else in that category is away from the bar currently, so aside from the emotional support, I might be the only one still around who can help him with the after-effects of changing the core code at the "end" of the game.

That's true, he's befriended those others don't like.
He hasn't mastered code altering yet, his success earlier was beginners luck. If he had mastered it he'd be an Elder right now. Vangold has told me that it's best if he masters that ability slowly, and I agree.

Ah, I know that. I didn't mean I would help him with code altering itself. I mean... my method wouldn't even apply to him. He would be better off learning from someone whose methods he can use, but I agree about him learning it slow, for several reasons. But anyway, I was talking about helping him with the after-effects of what he already did. Its great that Hubert, Chara (and the one who I'm not sure how I should address) were able to heal him, but there's a lot of other side-effects that come from altering code like that, especially for the first time. A lot of mental and emotional... stress, we'll call it. Not that I wouldn't try to help him with his other emotional and mental trauma from the events leading up to that, but its oddly convenient that one of the main things that put him in his current state is something I'm actually versed in. I just find it ironic. But as I said, I can help him both as a concerned friend and someone with some experience in these things. Hm... though since you want him to learn about code-altering slowly, do tell me if there's anything I should specifically *avoid* saying to him.
Also, since I got a reply from (SteampunkCyborg) Alexander on one of my other posts, but not a reply here yet from O, I don't know if it means he just hasn't seen my offer to volunteer or I should take this as a no. I don't want to make assumptions either way, but I'm kind of torn. I want to talk more about ways I could help, but I worry about discussing to much if He says I can't come to the bar or help Mossy. Not sure if I should just wait a few more days, or actually ask directly. I don't want to seem pushy about it, and I know they are busy, I just want to make sure my reply wasn't lost in the sea of other replies they get flooded with (especially since it was very short for something from me). Ah well, let me know your thoughts on the matter. I think you have spoken to SteampunkCyborg and VanGold a lot more then I have, so you probably know them better.
(Heh, well you do a good job of it. I find you very entertaining. And sweet. You're a lot of fun to talk to. And its nice to know there are others around who like to help out and care about the misjudged and unpopular ones. Makes me feel like I'm a bit less of an odd one out. Welp, looks like we got our answer (though I technically got a confirmation of that privately shortly beforehand). You'll have to let me know the best way to contact you again (sorry for forgetting, I did check in notes and I saw something about Tumblr chat, but I don't know how good that is for chatting in real-time. I don't really use Tumblr). Let me know if there are any other contact methods I forgot or overlooked. Anyway, I do want to discuss a few things about Mossy, so I can *actually* be of some help, instead of just having good intentions.
I can understand. I love to help others to, its one of the things we have in common. Afraid my soul is a bit of an... oddity, but I can talk more about that in notes if it seems important. I think little Mossy embodies his soul color very well. I'm glad he's found himself in a place where not only is his kindness needed and appreciated, but where he has people to care about him and show him kindness as well. He certainly deserves it.
((It totally does. I'm actually a little sad that so many of my posts around here have been these big walls of text about "heavy" topics. Not that its bad in itself, its just.... those are trying to make either specific points, or trying to get the readers to think differently about something. But the truth is, that's not how I talk in normal conversation. I mean, I still talk a lot (obviously), and those opinions are still mine, but I tend to be a lot sillier myself in more "normal" every-day speech. I like jokes, though other than when I am particularly inspired I don't consider myself that good at them. I'll leave the jokes and puns to the Sanses. But I do like sarcasm and sass, and a certain amount of teasing (its one reason I actually like the exchanges with Lulu, Squirrel/Alexander, Lou, Justice, Lusty etc. so much), those who talk to me in person (or voice-chat) tend to see a lot more of it. I think when I type things out I still tend to use old habits from childhood about "proper" speech. That and in the ask blog I try to be at least a bit respectful. I do like and respect a lot of them (especially my previously dubbed "Hollow Hour Crew"), and in the early asks I was a bit worried if I annoyed them I would get booted from the asks. I don't fear that now, of course, and I have started trying to let my silliness slip into my asks a bit more, but.... its funny, talking one-on-one I can be such a dingus/goofball about everything, but its like when I know its going to be read by a ton of people I feel like I have to go into teacher-mode or something. Like I need to make the things I say "productive", or have a lot of meaning, cause it would be a waste of people's time otherwise. Yes I know that's not how it is, its just... ok I actually have no idea what it is. I know it goes a long way back, but yeah, not totally sure on this one. hm.. Maybe is comes from thinking of everyone here (and the creators of them) as "important people", and that's why if what I say isn't "useful" to them its a waste. Hm.. I will have to give this one some more thought.

Anyway, I do think you are fun, and someone I can open up to more without worrying if my humor is actually funny or not. With any luck, I will get that way with everyone else here, in time. I at least seem to have gotten Chara and Hubert to smile a bit. Guess my plant puns weren't to bad (I totally blame talking to you for it, thinking of Mossy makes me think of plant puns >_<). I will certainly work on.... "allowing" myself to be silly more around here. I mean, if it annoys anyone I'm sure they'll tell me. And if I can make someone smile its worth it, even if the bar is full of funnier people, I can still try. (Goofiness/silliness are as much a part of me as kindness is. In fact dad often tells me to "grow up". And I don't mind if it seems a little "over the top", or lame. If I can get others to smile, or even better yet, laugh, then it's worth it. I give my dad a silly bow whenever he compares me to a court jester, I just don't wanna be Jabba da Hut's jester... Yeesh! The price of failure is too steep with him and I don't wanna be reduced to "pet food".
I'm so glad that my own silliness has awakened your funny bone! Help me spread the laughs, everyone needs to remember that as serious as things are it's still a bar for Sanses, and things need to be at least a little "humerus". 😉)

I'm still not sure they have any idea how much this comic/story has helped me make friends. People I never would have met otherwise and who I actually feel I can talk with. (Heh, I think I will leave the puns to you and the Sanses. I like them, but I can't always come up with a lot of unique ones, and I hate using repeats. But I will definitely do more teasing and sarcasm, but the fun kind not the mean kind. And now that Aria brought up age.... I think I might have fun teasing a few of the others in the bar about being "young'ins" and "whippersnappers". But only if they are someone I am already bantering with or who I know can take it in stride. Even if I have decided to be more open with my humor and snark, I still need to figure out just who is receptive to it and who isn't. As much as I like talking to Justice, for example, he doesn't seem to be much of one for teasing. Ironically most of the Hollows, on the other hand, seem to take it in stride or even tease back with each other. Hm.. at least I already know Mossy likes plant puns. I'm sure he's already heard every single one I could ever think of, but it does give me something to joke about that I hope would make him smile a little. I think he needs it right now, and it would be a good way to break the ice. Not sure on some of the others. Heh, I actually look forward to Shadow coming back. He's an interesting one. Not just anyone would break out of a cage, threaten a bunch of fell verses, and then sing upside-down from a chandelier and terrify/confuse the crap outta people.
