Didi, Protector of the Feelings, to the rescue! FYI, if Didi calls you a "Stinker", that's her cussing at you.
While Gogo is off turning a few minor comments into an existential meltdown (as folks do sometimes), Andy's still pretty cavalier about it.
Last update for a few days while I hit the road, but much more on the way!
peace

Way to break down and give yourself an easy way out instead of something original like character development.
You gave in to the feelings of a character you made up, instead of actually trying to give her some feminine empathy and goals.
Why don't you give her a giant shota-raping horse penis for Andy to suck on while you're at it?
Quitter.

I wouldn't want an unwashed ANYTHING pissing it's ego on me no matter how hot looking it thinks it is. SHE was being an ass, and she was doing it on his birthday.

"Easy way out"?
Gogo is still VERY much under the impression that Andy, the only boy whose opinion she cares about, thinks of her as big, brutish, and dumb. Additionally, she believes that Didi, her alternate aspect, represents the pretty one Andy is looking for. When you consider that Gogo could conceivably morph herself into any pleasing form she desires EXCEPT for the one which is already spoken for, you can see a potential major conflict threatening.
Didi is about as pissed off as she gets, in a character who has only gotten pissed off once before, and that was with someone who is an alternate aspect of her existence, so I'm not sure if that counts as anything other than temporary self-loathing. Plus she has demanded that Andy do something that is not necessarily the correct thing to do (which would also be a first for Didi).
Andy...Well, Andy, being young, is more familiar and comfortable with screwing up, however he is something of a special case, and he does sincerely care about both Gogo and Didi. However, this is a situation in which he does not feel he has done anything wrong. If anything, he feels that he successfully defended himself from Gogo's somewhat egotistical (albeit genuine) assumption that her hotness would be universally admired. We know (because VanHeist has taken the trouble to show use how Andy has developed as a character) that Andy tends to spend most of his brooding on how people feel on the inside, and having seriously emotionally hurt someone who he cares about is going to affect him, particularly if he feels that what he did was a harmless, even amusing, prank.
I know the anime you are into has excessively long, ridiculously convoluted, yet for all that easily-predictable character templates and story layout (yep, even the porn, which I gather you are into with your curiously detailed comment above), however, when it comes to webcomics, assuming that things are going to play out in accordance with the cliches from another country, let alone another genre, is foolish at best. Heck, half the reason most people do a webcomic is because they aren't satisfied with the regular fare.

'Course you don't.
I don't either, but that's because I live in Japan and don't feel like paying for channels I can't understand. And no, claiming that you don't have a TV or that you read books other than comic books doesn't really make you look smarter. It just makes you look pompous. Emphasizing your intellect to justify your unwarranted criticism on a webcomic will only make people wonder why such a grand intellect is criticizing a webcomic.
And yes, you do watch anime, and yes, you do read manga, and yes, the first image that popped into your head when you doth protested too much was that of an amazon with a giant shota-raping horse penis for Andy to suck on. No shame in that, it's just what you're into. But don't go imposing on other people and complaining about something that you THINK might happen that you disapprove of. It makes you look like a tool.

Actually, I threw my television away when Bush was in office. You are the one who is projecting YOUR feelings unto ME. I read books because I have been reading books since the 70s. The reason I know about Anime and Japanese entertainment(Tentacle rape?!) is because I have been on 4chan, and I am aware of your entertainment even if I am not as amused by it as you are. Disapprove? Get off the boat, you dink. What I disapprove of is making things easy for yourself, walking the low road when the mountain path will not take you any longer to walk(and by this I mean creating a story or developing a plot line). Pompous? I already admitted to lurking on 4chan, and I'm an internet lurker as well. I can't say that I haven't seen manga, but I don't spend time looking for it either. For that matter, I consider tentacle-sex and shota raping horse penis an IMPROVEMENT. In the 80s, everything on the internet was pictures of porn. The big innovation of the 90s was -animated- porn. It wasn't until ~2005 that that the internet became a place for casuals like artists and lawyers. Really, there may be racists, bigotry and summer everywhere all year long, but the content has significantly improved.
YOU are the one who likes to make a lot of assumptions. Try not to do that.

Oooh! Well, I threw my television away when Reagan was in diapers, sooo...that makes me smarter than you right?
Or wait, no, the guy who brought up the subject of amazons with giant penises molesting young boys didn't actually bring that up, rather, I projected that into his post...
No...not quite that either...how about--the guy who assumed he knows precisely what the actual author intends to do and berates the author based on the assumption that something that has not actually occurred yet is going to happen, while simultaneously complaining about a quality that has already occurred (such as character growth) in a far more subtle and intelligent manner than one would find on an internet book on how to please women, maybe...maybe...
Maybe a person who makes assumptions about something should keep in mind that his assumptions are not necessarily correct, that his conclusions based on those assumptions can be wrong, and presuming to berate an author, to the extent of providing a comparison example of the previously mentioned Ddmitrysian fantasy (I too have navigated 4chan) is a rather arrogant exercise in ego meriting an apology to the author.
Look, you stuck your foot in your mouth and ranted where it wasn't merited. You have as much right to criticize VanHeist as he does to post his work for public consumption, but don't expect to have your assumptions be taken as facts without contest. VanHeist was polite enough to reply with a simple "Fair Enough." when he pointed out that this story arc was not finished and you responded that all of your comments of being a quitter, of being disappointed in him, of failing as a writer, were all based on what you EXPECT to happen. That kind of mindset is truly astonishing.
I am going to go ahead and follow his example on that. When it gets to the point that you justify negative critique on non-existent work while ignoring contrary evidence in the work that actually does exist..
When your attempts to appear intellectually superior involve not watching TV (then upgraded to throwing the TV out), reading (most of us consider that sort of baseline intelligent), and offering assistance in "character development" by linking an internet book on getting women into bed ("You will be able to unleash her inner nymphomaniac!")...
Yeah, my apologies, VanHeist. This isn't the sort of discussion that merits so much space. I should have stopped when I realized that.
For the record, I, personally, find that the amount of character growth exhibited by the characters even prior to any of the story arcs you have recently begun to be masterful, particularly in a media like webcomics, where continuity and nuance is not always all that prized a quality.

I will admit that I do not disagree with your assessment of their characters from 2 days ago("Gogo is still VERY...").
However, I do not agree with you on what their tolerances are.
It's more likely that Andy would get caught in homestuck than trying to explain things to people that tell him what to do. He is becoming an anachronism, a digital watch on the wrist of a velociraptor.
The more he "white knights", the less real he is.

Peoples character, and as a result, fictional characters "character", develop by being challenged and facing adversity.
Would Gogo be challenged by going to war with all the military forces of earth? No, because that, for her, is not a challenge.
FINALLY you present Gogo with a serious challenge. Real, for her, adversity. A difficult story to create, develop and tell,.. and then you withdraw the challenge.
I'm just so... -disappointed-.

Heh, her face looks sorta like a cat in the last panel of her. Besides Gogo's big sensitive side ordeal, if I remember correctly, this is the first time I've seen Andy this confident to the point of a big ego himself. Eh not important, good job on the comic, not like Andy has to run to her place so he's got time.

It's probably for the best that Andy so far hasn't realized just what an effect he has on Gogo; imagine if he got it into his head to... EXPLOIT it. Or on the brighter side, realize that this shows how IMPORTANT he really is to her, and not just a brief amusement.
