In the magic-infused world, there are the “Castless”, who have difficulty casting spells, no matter the catalyst they use. Errianne Arika gets around this by using modified guns designed to fire magical shots instead of physical ammo. This, combined with spell augments to improve her aim, allow Arika to control the battlefield at range.

Errianne Arika is actually the second-oldest character in my existing roster, next only to Amantha. She remains largely unchanged throughout her different revisions, with her short hair and spy catsuit. Here, she and Amantha share the inability to use ranged magic, and get through that in different ways, and this is the basis of their own friendship.
