It IS a rather violent piece, I'll have to admit, looking at it now. Suppose it's a reminder of exactly how violent the stories in the Bible can actually be.

This is actually my second take on this station. I originally had him shackled to the pillar after the scourging, until I was told that chains and shackles were supposedly not in use at the time the events took place. I drew this up afterwards.
