It is important to note that Citrine has met Cobalt more than three times (picture wise). This means they are official friends and he has a far lower chance of freezing up on her. Now, normally everything would be fine but Citine ended up getting a few new upgrades that he wasn't aware about. Apparently this was enough of a change to trip his blushie-blushie petrification mode and it looks like Citrine isn't too happy about that.

I can see her yelling at him with something along the lines of, "IT'S ONLY BEEN A FEW DAYS SINCE WE LAST SAW EACH OTHER. WHY, COBALT?! WHY?!"
