The shadow being thrown against the wall by the flame beside her was incredibly annoying.

"Roy... we have to get up early tomorrow. Stop clicking or I'll rip up your glove."

A sheepish "Sorry" came from the other side of the bed. It was the most comfortable sleeping arrangement she had ever known, but also the most infuriating.

A finger ran along her nose and she brushed it away, before it started again.

"Roy..."

"What?"

"Stop it."

"Stop what?"

She rolled her eyes. What the hell, she wasn't going to sleep at this rate any way. She rolled over and kissed him, running her fingers through his hair.

He kissed back, hands running over her back, up and down...

"You know, Riza, you still haven't told me what punishment you have in mind."

The blonde Captain rolled on top of him and brought her face tantalisingly close to his, pressing her body against his.

"Mmm, Roy..."

He had wanted this, craved this, since the last time, more than two years ago, and his body yelled out in the beauty of this release as Riza sultrily began undoing her night-gown, then stopped, bringing her face closer to his.

"...you have to earn this."

She rolled off him, smiling mischievously while laying her head on the pillows. "Goodnight."

He laid back, staring at the ceiling in frustration and disappointment, close to tears.

"You are too cruel."

She continued smiling.

This was going to be fun.
