Although I am having a lot some trouble with the hawk patronus ... Would it be too terrible if I just disincluded him? It would definitely make the whole thing go faster.

i actually make the hawk patronus like a physical being because i bought it like... a month ago.
so if you want you can just make it a normal red hawk or disinclude it.
whichever is easiest ;3
