Death.A horrible creature robed in black,
with gnarled, horrid features
and great ebony wings
that spread only when it is time for someone
to be whisked away to the realm of infinite darkness.
This horrible creature is the worst fears of even the bravest people.
Even those who say they welcome it secretly fear it.
The awesome yet sickening power of Death
is enough to drive any man to madness.
To know you might not wake up tomorrow is such a frightening thought
that some end their lives prematurely
to put their fears of this monstrous beast to rest.
Though often viewed negatively, Death doesn't have to be a bad thing.
Do not live in fear of the ever-present thought
of standing in the shadow of this mysterious specter.
Rather, live to the best of your abilities,
and when the time comes,
do not fear it.
Do not fight it.
Instead, welcome it like an old friend.
And when you find yourself walking down the all-too-familiar tunnel, towards the light,
carry with you all the wonderful memories of your time on Earth
as you transition into the next life.
