Nikolai is an 8-year-old Afghan boy. According to Bat, his coach is the one who is best able to protect their country. Indeed,he is their best shooter,and he is also the one who is the most agile and quick level reflexes,and who is often played solo. Nikolai was at the very beginning the kind of guy who farted because he was the best and who only thought about his face, barely caring about the fate of others, being as cold as possible with them. Actually, it’s a mask he puts on his face so we don’t see his real personality. He is indeed very affectionate and kind, risking his life for the people he cares about more than anything, especially for his friends. He is literally bullied in his camp, he is often full of blood and in a deplorable state, but has a style that he is doing very well and that he does not suffer, even if sometimes he is close to crying because of the pain. He rarely talks about his life. He hates that we complain or try to help him, he thinks he’s old enough to take care of himself. He is not afraid of death, he has brushed it several times. He is not the type to let go and he has rather a dirty character. Bat,Seth,and Astrid are his brothers and sister, although he didn’t find out until much later. He no longer wants to invest in romantic relationships, blaming himself for what he did to Thomas when he loved him deeply. Moreover, he knows that the brown still loves him but, knowing that he will pass through, he cut off all contact with him to make him less of a pain, because in spite of everything, he cares a lot about him and realizes that it was not just a "game".
