Humanity is no longer a name, it is an idea; an idea of duty. Long ago the philosophers of Terra believed it was their duty to describe what was and wasn't a human, and in doing so, brought disorder and strife among their species. Now, when you go onto a Union street and see beings of all different shapes, sizes, and backgrounds, you know one fact; they are all human. They serve the will of the state, the will of the galaxy, they are citizens of a system far greater than them, and uphold that system with every action they take. Every position, every purpose, every sweat off the brow now goes toward the complete unification and management of a thousand stars. Once there was a species known as humans, now there is a civilization where all are human.

From the first Stellaris Invicta campaign by the Temple Institute, got this fantastic idea for a flag that was perfectly encapsulates that massive empire feel, might do the Antares Confederacy next.
