The decaying city is the image of the failure, not my try to depict it
Main idea of transhumanism is using technology to limit aging in people and make them live indefinitely, but I believe that death and fast switching between generations is what made us evolve.
Take an amoeba, if you keep cutting it in 2 it always survives (the part with the nucleus does); it's practically immortal! Yet it never evolved in millions of years, even if its genome is a hundred of times larger than human's one
That's why I believe no such technology could work on a biological level, even if perfectly working
