In the 1970's I worked at Perkin-Elmer and we made these HUGE Mainframe Computers...six feet tall and 1/2 a ton heavy...
I remember seeing photos of one that we shipped to the Mideast...It had to be carried over the desert to it's destination by helicopter and it was hung with cables beneath the 'copter just like this!!!
The cables broke over the desert and it fell and that big computer is still out there sitting upright in the middle of the wasteland!!!
