The Mountain has some odd visual artifacts that almost make it feel like it is being looked at through a window. Something about the clouds dont seem to fit around the mountain which is giving that the feel seeing the reflection in glass when you look through it.
I think the village fits and blends in fairly ergonomically, kinda like the misty effect it has.
