Rebel Gem - The Shooting Stars
Gem Weapon: Arm Bracers

Cocoa Pearl was born several centuries before the attempted colonization of Earth and spent a very brief time there before the first Gem War began. She has been shuffled between hundreds of lower-ranked Gems during her life. Many disliked her because she was so happy, despite her shy nature. Her last appointment was to the service of a forge Gem, Cinnabar, on the planet Aage under Yellow Diamond.
Cinnabar was interested in little about gem culture, instead preferring to perfect her own Gem weapon... bombs. Cocoa found herself swept up in a plan to escape from the Diamonds. Cinnabar had this way with words, a way of painting a picture of a free society where one could make their own future no matter their beginnings. It wasn't that the Diamonds had hurt them... it was that they limited them so greatly. Cocoa remembered a thousand times a thousand moments where she had to stifle her favorite thing: laughter.
Cocoa made the first move in the rebellion, stealing one of the most valuable artifacts in the entire colony; she absconded with the Calcite Pyramid that powered the Alpha Kindergarden. Retaliation was too slow in coming and the rebel group fled in the fastest ship available, hiding near the Seed River Mists at the edge of the galaxy. They hope to ransom the Pyramid back to Yellow in exchange for their total freedom.
During their time in hiding, Cocoa has researched alongside Peridot about the free world of Earth and the rebellion that took place there. Her current form is modeled around modern Earth fashions, and she's particularly fond of her retractable skates. This Pearl is not currently involved with anyone. She prefers to tease the rigid Rhodonite and has no experience with fusion.
