Quicky of a wuffers.Hate photoshop, it saves the colours darker than it really is, so I try to compensate by making the picture lighter, but it makes it so ugly.

I don't think it is ugly at all. I think you did a beautiful job, and as someone else mentioned, the field of depth is well done.

try going to "image" > "mode" and selecting a color profile that is better calibrated to your monitor. That helps me a lot, then when I save a picture it doesn't change quite as much. Lovely wolf

Photoshop always saves my stuff way lighter and desaturated.
I really like the way you handled depth of field with the soft-focus background. *thumbs up!*
