we have to understand that there are people in madhouses and there is the average mad man..there is no sanity at all, there are just different degrees of insanity..
there’s a constant movement on this scale of insanity
some people cross the line too often and are (for whatever reason) unable to come back
but to catch glimpses of pure sanity is so rare that you are actually not able to observe them in your daily life, because they don’t exist
