Thisis asuch a breathtaking piece of art work that is brilliantly crafted! The overall idea and concept is brilliant and is displyed in such a masterful way her! I can feel the overflowing emotion coming from this piece and there is a heart and soul to it! The dark and ominous shading is a stunning contrast to the subtle light and amplifies the presence of the shadow of Nightmare Moon! Wow, you're making my pictures look pathetic. Yours is awesome, don't take it the wrong way, it's just, I feel like I'm a bit behind. And I'm a bit sad about that. In fact, this picture illustrates my feelings perfectly right now. I feel the same way as Luna feels here. Maybe you've felt the same way, or maybe others have. I don't know, but this deviation sorta illustrates my feelings right now.

I know what it is like to feel behind; in art especially. It's a good way to keep motivation, but it will also make you into your own worse critic. I have felt really behind when I look at other artists in this community. At some point you have to stop comparing and just draw whatever and eventually you will hit a point where you'll say "Wow I have actually really really improved since then." Just keep your head up and draw everyday. That's all I can really say. ^^"

Actually, the most difficult part was the lighting and darkness, but a fair amount of time was spend on the wings as well.

There are many pictures of Luna.
There are many pictures of Luna and Nightmare Moon...
But they usually include turning into her, or seeing her in the reflection, or something like that.
But this... this is much more menacing, much more sad, and You captured much more pain in her face...
It's just beautiful... in the really cruel way, but beautiful. The feels just... argh, I don't know what else to say! I... I'll just shut up now...
